A day to remember

Holly called today and invited Alan, the kids and I to go with them to a 9/11 memorial in Sandy. They had over 3,000 flags posted for all of the people who had lost their lives durring 9/11. It was a site to see and so sad. We walked and walked through the flags and were just in awe at how tragic that day was! Anyways, there was no way I could have gotten a picture that showed just how many flags there were, but I did take some. Holly and I were talking and said what a powerful picture it would be to have 3000+ people standing there instead of those flags! I did not personally know anyone killed in 9/11, but my heart goes out to the thousands of families who did lose people they loved!
